There is no doubt that the "self" is vitally important to HALFPRICE PERFUMES.
However, what is just as important to us is taking care of the world around us - otherwise global warming issues, excessive use of natural resources, deforestation and environmental problems will eventually mean that our planet will be uninhabitable and there will be no more "self" to worry about.
As an internet-based company, our very premise is environmentally friendly as we are reducing the need to travel to purchase goods. Our reduced overheads by not having retail outlets, also save great amounts of energy.
But, we wondered, what else can we do to improve how we offset our carbon footprint? How can we be pro-active and involve our customers in this process too?
We are taking the following steps to ensure we play our part:
- Off-set your carbon footprint by planting one or more trees with every order. The trees cost £5.00 but HALF-PRICE PERFUMES will subsidise the cost of every tree you buy by 50% making the cost to you only £2.50 per tree.
- We offer you free postage when you spend over £20.00, so if you want to give this cost back to the environment, planting a tree is a simple, effective way to do that! CLICK HERE
- We run a virtually paperless office by mainly using e-mail and databases to communicate information which of course in itself extremely environmentally friendly. Additionally, the only paperwork we do produce, our invoice dockets, enclosed with the packages, is printed on 100% recyclable paper.
- We encourage people to buy our unboxed, unpackaged tester bottles - thereby saving unnecessary packaging cost (as our website says "you only throw the packaging away anyway!"
- We always try to use the minimum amount of packaging when we despatch our items, without of course, compromising their safety during transit.
- We offer a recycling service for perfume bottles - send us 3 empty bottles back for recycling and we will send a £5.00 voucher for use against a future order.
